Skins

Designer Ron Arad has just teamed up with Kenzo to create a perfume bottle for the first time. Made from four natural ingredients, orange blossom, bulgarian rose essence, vanilla pod resinoid and frankincense essence the brief was to create the scent of skin. Ron Arad's mother apparently smelt of marble as she was a sculpture so when you smell his take on "skin", it should evoke marble dust.

If you want to buy it, just sidle up to the counters in Paris, Brussels, New York or London and ask for the "unidentified" fragrance (no kidding). Lovely packaging and the zamac metal bottle shape is a particular draw. There are only 2,300 bottles in the world but it doesn't launch til September so you could start queuing now.
