Muuto - Maison Objet September 2010

Muuto showcased the silicone rubber Unfold pendant lamp by Stockholm based designer and architectures studio Form Us With Love. The duo also designed a lovely tealight candle holder called Match. Click here to see it on the designer's homepage.

Each year Muuto have a competition for young designers. Petter Thörne and Anders Johnsson from Konstfack School of Design in Stockholm's winning entry is the dining table named "Keep" made from scrap wood and secured with metal bands (cutting out the need for glue) and a linoleum table top.

It don't matter if you're black or white

Scandinavian design company Muuto have been causing a stir in the last two years injecting the minimal Scandi-aesthetic with a bit of fun. Products such as their Norway Says lacquered "Salt and Pepper mills" and
JDS Architect’s “Crushed bowls” have become stylists staples. They have just released their hotly anticipated products for 2009 - Black and white pendant lamps by Swedish designers Mats Broberg and John RidderstrÃ¥le - also available with a green cord for those who think monochrome's already over.
