Stitch me up

Came across this great cross-stitch illustrator in Aoyama's  Cïbone whose whimsical works are framed like pictures. In the last two years Japanese Makoto Daizu's career has really taken off and he is single-handedly making the matronly pastime of cross-stitching cool. From Nike Air Jordans to insects and worldmaps, no subject is exempt from his nimble needlework. Check out his work below.

Xmas spirit

Great concept for an advent calendar, a showcase of a different Susanne Kaufmann product for each day. Everything from bath oils to local herbs such as chili and cardamom seeds and whey bath powder. Only packaged in glass bottles.

Preserving Tradition

Going strong since 1981, Yorkshire based Cartwright & Butler started life as a jam and preserve maker.   I like their packaging and website design.
